FAQs

  • Yes! I offer direct billing to most major insurance companies and some smaller ones. Please bring your insurance information to your appointment or submit it ahead of time so we can process your claim smoothly.

  • I require at least 48 hours’ notice to cancel or reschedule. Cancellations made with less than 48 hours’ notice will be charged 100% of the service booked. Each appointment can be rescheduled once with at least 48 hours’ notice; additional reschedules require a new booking and deposit.

  • Arrive clean, hydrated, and in comfortable clothing. If you’re a first-time client, please arrive 5–10 minutes early to complete any forms and discuss your treatment goals.

  • Yes! I offer both deep tissue (injury recovery, chronic pain) & therapeutic massages. Each session can be customized to your preference and comfort level.

  • Absolutely — pressure is always adjusted to your comfort. You can request more or less pressure at any time during your session.

  • No — I do not offer mobile massage appointments anymore.

  • Most clients benefit from a massage every 4–6 weeks for maintenance, or more frequently if working on a specific injury or chronic pain. Regular visits help maintain progress and prevent tension from returning.

  • Yes. As a Registered Massage Therapist, I provide detailed receipts with my RMT number, which you can submit to your insurance company if not billed directly.

  • Yes — I can customize treatments and offer packages combining massage with skincare or facial services. Ask during booking to explore your options.

Massage Services

  • Yes — our RHElief Facial is performed by a Registered Massage Therapist and is eligible for direct billing to most major insurance providers.

However, advanced skin treatments such as Dermaplaning Facials or Chemical Peels and other treatments are not covered by insurance, as they fall under full esthetic skin treatments rather than therapeutic massage-based facials.

If you’d like to enjoy a therapeutic facial and try advanced skin care options, you can:

    • Book the RHElief Facial (covered by insurance),

    • Select ADD-ONS like dermaplaning or peels, dermapeel, and others.

    • Pay only the difference for the add-ons at checkout.

This way you get the best of both worlds — insurance coverage for the base facial and access to advanced treatments you’d like to experience.

  • During your first visit or consultation, we’ll review your skin goals, concerns, and current routine. I’ll customize or recommend the best treatment for your needs.

  • It’s not mandatory, but recommended. A consultation helps us build a plan for your skin, choose the right products, and avoid contraindications.

  • Avoid using retinoids, AHAs/BHAs, exfoliants, or strong active ingredients 3–5 days before your appointment. Come with a clean face if possible.

  • Every 4–6 weeks is ideal for maintenance. If working on specific concerns like acne or pigmentation, treatments may be closer together depending on your plan.

  • Yes. I use professional-grade products and adjust treatments to your skin type and tolerance. Always disclose allergies or sensitivities beforehand.

  • A Custom Facial is tailored to your skin type and goals with gentle products. Advanced Treatments (like chemical peels, microneedling, dermaplaning, Hydrafacial) are more intensive and target specific concerns but can still be customized based on your concern.

  • Yes. I can recommend products to support your skin goals at home for optimal results.

Facial & Skin Treatments

  • With proper care, lash extensions last about 2–3 weeks before needing a fill. Lash lifts last 6–8 weeks.

  • Avoid water, steam, and oil-based products for the first 24–48 hours. Brush your lashes daily with a clean spoolie and cleanse them with lash-safe cleanser.

  • When applied professionally and cared for properly, extensions won’t damage your natural lashes. Proper removal is key — never pick or pull.

  • Every 2–3 weeks depending on your lash growth cycle and how well you care for them.

  • Yes — if you’re concerned about sensitivities, please request a patch test at least 48 hours before your appointment.

    • Lamination: 6–8 weeks

    • Hybrid Tint: 3–6 weeks

    • Shaping: 3–4 weeks

  • Avoid retinoids, AHAs/BHAs, or waxing on the brow area at least 5 days before your appointment to prevent sensitivity or irritation.
